#Primera dyesub and ADPro

I can't get the ADPro dyesub driver to print properly.
I have a 25mhz A3000, a Bernoulli 150 multidisk, 8M fast, 2M chip, a Gigamem
partition set to 20M, Kickstart 37.175 and WB v.38.35.
Do I need to enable the Fargo PCI while I am printing from ADPro?
What's the best place to cache the spooler for this?
Will PrintManager conflict with this?
PLEASE tell me what's the best setup for this!

What is the problem you're having? My ADPro dyesub driver seems to work
fine on my '040 A2000. I do not use the Fargo PCI at all, which, if I
remember correctly, ADPro does not need. I generally only output frames
of video from my Toaster which look fine, and have not scanned in any
photographs to test the output of the Primera.
The problem I am currently having though, is getting my HP Laserjet 4
Postscript printer to work with ADPro. Final Copy works great, but not
ADPro.

ADPro 2.5's Postscript saver module is broken. ASDG doesn't seem too
concerned about getting it's user's a working one. I was emailed a file
that was supposed to fix the problem, but it wasn't a new saver module,
and don't know what to do with it.

Did the file you receiveid come w/ a new version of ADPro.library? Also, the
new PS saver also defaults to setting ANG/DNS to 10 DPI. If you want higher
res. prints, you must set these values to a higher DPI setting.
Also, the file size of the file did not change much if at all. Just because the
file size is the same does not mean that it was not change.
Also, if you have a previous version of ADPro, you can still use the old
Postscript saver with the new ADPro interface.
ASDG is VERY concerned about getting bug fixed and the like but if you are
still having problems, please let us know directly. It is hard to rectify a
problem if you do not tell us about it.

I have found that the only way to get 300 dpi working with the new driver
is to set the "ignore DNS/ANG" gadget. Why can't you make that requestor
stick with this setting. Everytime I want to print I have to set that
requestor manually.
Also, I can't get it to output in landscape mode. Would this have
anything to do with the "ignore DNS/ANG" setting?

On, or about, 11 May 94 you emailed me a file with the name something like
"New PS Saver" – I can't remember the exact name, but it was something
similiar to this.
When EMailing binaries, I believe AP uses the Subject line contents as the
file name.
Also, the file doesn't appear to have been compressed by any method.
Doing so would reduce the upload/download size, plus add a level of data
integrety on the received file. The file decompression program would let
me know if the file was corupted.
Anyway, what was I supposed to do with this file? It's file size was
63748 bytes. I thought it was supposed to replace the Savers2/Postscript
file, but upon examining the internals of the file you sent me, I knew
this wasn't so.
So, want to try this again from the beginning?

Select Prefprinter as your saver. It will bring up a window which
you can configure called "Output". Go to the "Project" menu, at the top
left of your screen, and select the "Print to" item. There you will have
to select between Preferences and Primera (Dye Sub).
