Hi, first I want to thank you for allowing Philip Shaddock to include Imagine V2.0 with his 3D modeling lab book. This is a great oppertunity for the casual dabbler like myself. I am considering the upgrade offer in back of the book and was wondering if the V3.0 of imagine will run under a DPMI server such as OS/2? Thanks R. Glenn Jones

Mr. Jones, At the present time, No, however it does seem that Imagine will be able to run under the new windows code named Chicago. There are numerous reasons why it cant, mostly due to the memory we need to use to do what Imagine does. No small feat. Hope you upgrade and have fun with 2.0. Mike

I know Imagine doesn't run under Windows currently, but are you saying that it seems to run under Chicago or did my comm program drop "not" in the first line. Thanks for a great program (even if it doesn't work under Windows ;=) ) -Marco

Marc, It will work under Chicago, or at least that is the plan. Mike

I have tried 2.0 and 2.9, but they won't run under OS/2. Unfortunately. -David
