hi evryone: for those of you who have been following my PAR colorbanding issue with gradations here is the update i sent my par in to be fixed. in two days i got a new card back(super service). i reinstalled the card and tried out my tests with gradations with this card. wooow what a differance. there is absolutly no hint of any gradation color banding no matter what i do. i get pefect gradations!! not only the gradations are "perfect"! the overall quality of my images have dramatically improved. i thought i would let you know in case you are experiancing this problem too. DPS has an amazing customer service and an amazing product.i truely bielive that PAR is an major breakthrough for animation and video image processing. i dont know how i did without it for so many years??!! happy "Paring" to all<G> ara

Glad to hear your problem is resolved! Good decision on you part to send it back. I'm happy to hear DPS is that responsive. They are really good people! PS: "BP" before PAR and "AP" is after par. Since the PAR is revolutionizing the animation recording industry we came up with these terms to fix a place it time. Like I recorded it 6 mo BP meaning I recorded it 6 months before I got the PAR and it was done frame by frame. <BG>
