Hi, Byron. I was actually thinking about something a bit more quick and dirty…I have an HP Paintjet and downloaded "Clouds.zip" from the 3ds3\images section of the library (one of 8), as Jonas suggested, and printed the thumbnails last night. The quality isn't is good as could be achieved using your method, but is probably good enough to allow quick selection of the desired texture, and the printing costs would be low enough to allow a retail of $10. or so…(although I'm not experienced with this aspect…). What do you think? Regards, Connie

Connie, <<What do you think?>> I am going to make something that I can show clients and need top notch quality. Although it will take large files, and some $ for printing, I feel that it is justified. If you don't need to interface with clients and your happy with your hp output go for it. We got a HP1200c with extra ram and I am just no happy enough to show clients backgrounds and textures from it. It makes a great color proof for in-house though. I will let you know what ever I end up doing as if you want the highest quality we can split the costs around. Regards, Byron

Hi, Byron. You are obviously much more knowledgeable than am I about printing/marketing. I am still interested in doing it your way and would like to get some idea of the approx. cost for the venture. If you can give me a ballpark figure, please e-mail me. Regards, Connie

Connie, <<If you can give me a ballpark figure>> I will let you know as soon as I do. I should be getting the Fargo Pro dye-sub in about two weeks and I am going to see what that might let me do. The samples look good… Byron
