Hello, Which lens flare package is better, LenzFx or Yost IPAS #1? Considering I would have to upgrade to Release 4 to use LenzFx, I am leaning toward the Yost #1 disk. Thanks

As far as I understand Ipas Disk one has been taken off the market, due to Lens FX being around 100 x more advanced than it was Greg

Schreiber Instruments is still selling Disk#1 untill Aaron works out the field-rendering problems he is having. Lee

The Field renedering problem is only applies if you put your work down using Targa or PAR systems. So for Still imaging Lens FX is the one to go for, plus hopefully that bug should be solved in the near future, so I would still recommend Lens FX over Ipas disk 1, Thansk for the Info' though Lee, I have told my dealership that Ipas disk one is still out there. I totally agree with you about the beauty of LenZFZ. I own both programs. I simply wanted to relay the disk#1 availability info. As far as use, personally, there will always be times when I will still use disk#1 over LenZFX. I just like the simplicity and quickness at which I can implement the disk#1 stuff. I find myself spending less time playing around with settings and watching previews. Lee

Fancy Interfaces are nice , but as you mentioned it slows you down. I prefer a simple interface even though the dealer like the glits of a fancy interface. Mike
