#Batch rendering

I've discovered the joys of batch rendering! Is there a way to render Video
Post files within a batch render? I didn't see any mention of it in the
manual. Thanks!
Hi Glenn,

Yes.. you can type "3ds render" to see all of the options. I believe that video
post support is /x …
Okay, thanks. I'll give it a try!

If you like batch-rendering why don't you try out single computer network
rendering.

I'm not sure what you mean. I use batch rendering to do multiple
files unattended over the weekend.

Basicly what i'm saying is that instead of typing up the long batch files,
simply start to setup rendering the animation in the Keframer. But instead of
selecting render to display select "net que" and "render to disk" after that
select render. You then have to tell 3DS what file name you want among other
things. To get 3DS into slave mode rerun 3DS by typing "3ds slave" or using
the slave option in 3DS's network pull-down menu. And don't forget before you
do any of this check to make sure that all of the settings are correct in your
3dsnet.set.
