What size and aspect ratio would I set a rendering so that it's size would be equal to 2-1/8 X 10-7/8? This is for an ad in a magazine, and that is the size I need to have the image. Thanks.

James You'll have to find the dpi used by the printer and multiply that by each dimension, i.e. 2.125x300dpi=638 pixels, etc. Aspect ratio is more than likely 1.0 for print. TedB -Ted Boardman !^NavFont01F0007MGHHG95A758

This is for an ad in a magazine, and that is the size I need to have the image.<< James, Here is some information that should help you get your final rendering output to disk: FORMULA- Output width in inches * 300 X Output height in inches x 300 ** 2.125 x 300 DPI X 10.875 x 300 DPI ** –637.5 x 3262.5– If I did my math right this should be your final rendering output size and this should produce approx. a 7-8 meg file. Set our output size in render configuration dialog box, then set your safe frame area to make sure all info is in view. You are now ready to render, set your render configuration dialog box video display driver selection to NULL and render to disk.

Now you need to find out what screen size the magazine is using and double it, for instance a 150 line screen would give you 300 dpi. Just multiply out the dpi times the inches in each direction to get the rendered size and remember to render to NULL!
