#Which for edit effects?

I have a FAST Video Machine for video editing. However, it does not have any
3D effects. I also have 3DS.
I am looking for something to do editing effects such as page turns and
multiple picture in picture among other things.
I would like any ones thoughts on using 3DS, Premier or Razor PRO.
VM can export and impurt TGA files and I will have to export single frames to
process them in any of the above mentioned products.
Any comments would be welcome.
P. S. Is there another product that I don't know about that could do this
better, faster etc?

The Abekus series, a bit out of your league (?) $60-120K. Real time 3-d. The
next cheapest way I known off is start creating reference template files in
3DSr4. Use the DPS PAR & TBC4, capture all of them, use Pyros's Action PAR IPAS
stuff. Render them out. You do get geniune 3-d fx. I done this a lot and it's
comparable to the hi-end system, albeit taking longer.
Sorry, but Premiere 4.0 nor Razor Pro can handle decent looking 3-d
transitions. Page Turn in Prmr 4.0 is still 2-d looking. It's more efficient
for 2-d & 2 1/2 d stuffs. I prefer Premiere 4 over other since it simply have
more needed features. Razor Pro only big advantage is the PAR's ANI
compatibility stuffs.
