I recently have been asked by aclient to create a 3d cube which would "unfold" in animation until it is a flat square with 5 identical squares attached to it. ( like taking a gift box and unfolding to a flat shape.) Any ideas as to what wuld be the best approach? Morphing has not seemed to work. Also is there a way to make the grids generatd by the PXP Grids object generator visible? As in showing a large cube made out of 9 small ones. Any ideas would be appreciated. Bruce

Hi Bruce————- For the cube you could detach each side into a seperate object and in the keyframer hierarchy each side to the base and the top to one of the sides and place the pivot point for each piece at it's 'hinge point'. Then you can just rotate each piece out. For the grids you might try making a cube then copy it next to itself. then select the row and copy that over, then select all the cubes and copy them up. You might try using arrays also but I'm not familiar with them. ————–Will
