Hi Gary, << I remember that there was discussion in past forums about dxf'ng a shape from the shaper back the other way and I have the thread SOMEWHERE but can't find it! >> I'm sorry but I don't remember this thread. I remember a keyframer path to dxf thread which resulted in the following upload which may help you. File Info for KEYDXF.ZIP Section: IPAS Usage Contributor: 100277,1272 Size: 14183 Submitted: 3/14/94 Type: Binary Accesses: 451 Title: IPAS that saves keyframer keys to DXF polyline. Keys: IPAS KXP DXF PD 3DS Public domain IPAS that takes an object, camera or light's position keys and save them as a 3D POLYLINE in a DXF-file. The DXF file can then be loaded into 3D-Lofter as path. Note that the line between the keys will be straight as the 3D-Polyline in DXF has no spline values. Jonas I guess I was mistaken. "Inside 3ds" refers to 3d mesh dxf to acad and I guess this is what i remembered! Exporting from the Shaper in dxf doesn't seem possible so I'll just render my signage and import to corel and reconstruct quickly w/ some .AI files I have left over! Thanks, anyway I'll learn something about the Keyframer I didn't know! Gary
