Hi. I've just uploaded a newer explination/project file to my Volume Lighting process. This produces a fix for the "horizontal line" problem some of you have encountered. If you have any ?'s or don't understand something I've explained – don't hesitate to contact me. -Kyle – 75542,363

Hi Kyle, I've been looking at your volumetric lighting prj file and your explanation of how you achieved it. Could you explain what you mean by "snapshotting"? This is the only link I am missing… Thanks! -TC

Tyler, the Snapshot command is accesable through the KF by choosing Object/Snapshot. It creates multiple instance objects based on the animation of the object that you choose. The easiest way to understand what it does is to just do it. Load up my project file and choose Object/Snapshot then click on the cylinder or grid object (I've uploaded two versions of this) set the range values to the first and last frames of the KF scene, and set the # of copies to something like 100 and hit OK – well, there you have it. you should have a virtually solid cone of individual objects. Hope this clears things up for ya. -Kyle
