#PAR and Field rendering

I am making a demo video tape, and will be using another company to
take my TGA files and outlay them to tape. They will do this with a
PAR, and record it to tape in real-time. Should I render my TGA's
with field rendering on or off? I know that field rendering is best
for NTSC output, but does this apply when it is being played off of
the computer and output to tape in real time, or just when laying
individual frames to tape? TIA
