What is the current price for Animator Studio? It was suggested by "NAAUG"
(whatever that is) that I ask you. I have Animator Pro 1.3.

NAAUG is the North American Autodesk User Group and represents a staff of about
20 people right now, not including the online faculty participating in the
current telecourse semester. -dave

To "migrate" to Animator Studio, since you have Animator Pro, is $295
(lower if you purchased after 1-sept-94). You get to keep the Animator Pro.

So they say, but the license agreement card that comes w/ the AAS "upgrade"
still says "If this Software is being licensed to you as an upgrade or update
to software previously licensed to you, you must destroy the software
previously licensed to you … within sixty (60) days …."
You'd think that a company as gung-ho about sticking it to those who break
license agreements by installing & using multiple copies of single-copy
software, etc would be more diligent in providing specific (non-boilerplate)
license agreements — I mean, either the thing means something or it doesn't.
Many license agreements are hard enough to understand as it is (I never have
really been able to figure out all the implications of Adobe's latest licensing
for their fonts) without you having to remember, "oh, I can disregard paragraph
1 on this agreement, but paragraph 5 is more strict than their license for
product 'y', etc".
