Thanks Tom. Our intention is to keep improving, and we will get deeper into
subjects with each issue. We expect readers with a range of experience on
different cpu's as well as actual DTV/multimedia experience. Our articles
will cover various levels of expertise, as well as offering informaton on
existing products. For many readers product information – i.e., reviews and
evaluations, will be of paramount info. Those folks already know what they
want to do but need to know what tools are available. Searching through
platform specific books for the occasional DTV or multimedia article just
isn't enough – and that's where DTV World comes in. I also agree with you
about peripherals. Staorage and processor upgrades are as important as the
rest. We will cover such topics, but since those can and are generally
covered in the regular mags, it isn't quite as pressing as some other
topics. Keep up the feedback!

PLEASE PLEASE LEASE give a review of DMI's Editmaster as soon as it
becomes avialable.I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting this goody and want to see if it
lives pto it's claims before plunking down $2249 on a Gadget that may or
may not work well enuff for Industrial Video/Music Video/Animation Editing
and laying to Videotape in REALTIME.

World a bit while I was SUPPOSED to be working,Very Nice and I like
getting info on the other platforms.Keep up the good Work.
Thanks (and sorry agan about the name!). Next issue has an article on
multimedia presentation packages that include anim/digital video support,
another on creatng demo reels, buying info of video products (vtrs, etc),
plus the spotlight section is on 3D.

Mispelled,don't feel bad.For some reason People have it in their minds
that their HAS to be a U in Midgard so they ASSUME I speeled MY companies
name incorrectly.If they were of Norse Decent they probably wouldn't make
this mistake.BTW this is NOT how ya'll mispelled the name.No big deal
about it tho,I just find it funny.
BTW As another Request for a Story/Review how about some of those lovely
RECORDABLE CD's machines for devoloping CDTV,CD-i and other CD based
interactive software or EVEN just for releasing CD
's of Images al Texture City.I'm VERY interested in this myself and got
some info a while back from A/Video mags user service cards on a Company
that does it.Unfortunately the name of the Company escapes me at the
moment.

OWN CDROM's of Images for Distribution.After all once you have the MASTER
Duplication is Relatively inexpensive.
I think the company I mentioned that made distrbuted the CDRom Authoring
Software and Recordable CD was named ABCD-I
I haven't seen your magazine yet but from the comments you are getting
here it looks like a winner. Well there was someone in one of the Graphics
forums (IBM mostly) that was looking for a Video magazine that covered
different platforms, of course I steered him to your magazine.
I have seen some magazine that cover the high-end video platforms but it
is refreshing to know that someone is filling the void with coverage of
the more common (don't call it `low-end') platforms.
I wish your magazine a good future.
