ASDG Twin-X board?

I would like some help identifying this board… I've been told it is a
Twin-X board, and it does say this as well as ASDG right on the plastic.
It has a serial port module installed on it. Could someone please tell me
what this thing is for… are there any other uses for it, how much it is
worth… where can I get modules, and what kind of driver does it use???

With the module that you apparently have installed, it is functionally
identicle to an ASDG Dual Serial Board. The same driver will work. The
twin-x board is no longer commercially available. You can add other modules
to it but you'd have to come up with driver software yourself.

Thanks for the quick response! I heard that it was a standard GPIB. That
is, it could support scanners, parallel cards, I/O cards, etc…
Do you know where modules are available at for this board? Is there
anything comparable on the MS/DOS side?
Thanks again… I sold it to a guy for $150, he thinks it was a poor deal
since it only is a dual serial… anyhow, that's what I figured it was
worth, even as only a dual serial.
A GPIB module can be added to that board – and it could be used to drive
GPIB scanners, etc. I don't think we have any modules left, but if it were
required, we could look. The standard these modules follow is actually from
the INTEL side of computing. There are dozens of modules available from
companys which probably have never heard of the Amiga. ASDG Tech Support

fair price for the board. I will pass this information on to him for
sure…
