Hey whats' up?
I recently joined compuserve and the Asoft forum. When I went to
contribute a file to the IPAS library, I couldn't. I think it was because i
had a temporary account when I joined the forum. If you could help, please do.
I was hoping to be removed as a forum member so I counld rejoin with my new
permenant ID and password. Help would be apreciated soon as posible.

You are correct in that there is a few days wait after you join Compuserve
before you can upload to the libraries. Once you get your permanent ID and
password, just come on back to the Forum and rejoin. The old name and ID will
be deleted after about six months of no activity. Having it on the membership
roster does not cost you extra unless you use it.

Thanks for the reply, but I still have a problem. I already have my new
password and my ID is the same. I have been in the ASOFT forum since, and I do
not know how to rejoin. I assume it is useing my ID number instead of my
password. What should I do? Should I wait a couple of days? It's been
almost 2 weeks!

I checked and your account seems all set up in this forum to be able to upload
library files and messages. As long as your current UID is the one your are
using to write these messages (102137,301) I don't see any reason why you can't
upload. The name of the ASOFT Forum recently changed to AMMEDIA but the old
ASOFT word will still work for a while. The IPAS Library is a public library so
give it a try again.
