I believe he's referring to Macromedia's program "Director". Quite a number of things, including, I believe, the Iron Helix CD-ROM game were done in/on the Director software.

I was thinking the same, but does Macromedia Director run under Windows, is it not a MAC program. If it is for MAC it is useless to me I have no MAC available.

Directer is available in both platforms. The A.D.A.M. anatomy software was also created with it.

Christophe, Macromedia Director is available for windoze now. They currently have a package deal going for about 1500.00 includes Director, Macromodel, Premiere and Sound Forge 3. Director alone is about 900.00 FWIW,

Yes! Macromedia Director Vers. 4.0 for Windows! We use it to author applications in-house.
