Running PAR from Windows
6 messages in this thread
Hi,
I'd like to use my PAR in Windows rather than the DOS interface
it comes with. Does anyone have suggestions on this?
Thanks,

Andy,
DPS has released the PAR VCR which allows you to record and playback
video from Windows. See their BBS, our BBS or our Web page:

Hi:
I just installed the PAR-VCR today on my system. Had to spend some time
getting my PAR hooked into my router for audio and video and sync but now the
PAR-VCR works fantastic! I was so fascinated at how the video playback and the
wav file were in sync right to the frame. I AM IMPRESSED!
Funny, I'm not so impressed when my VHS VCR can do the same thing and it can
record for 6 hours! <BG>
You'll like it.
Hi Don,
Thanks for the recommendation.
I've not had a chance to get onto the BBS yet – do I need to
purchase any hardware additional to the PAR in order to run
PAR-VCR, or is it a software solution which sits in Windows?
Thanks,

Without a TBC IV and a sound board for windows it would be greatly limited in
"VCR" functionality.
