This is a wishlist item, or more accurately a plea. You are the most powerful
company in 3d software. Why not hold a conference with the other industry
leaders and microsoft to set up a common 3d format that carries texture mapping
information. You could even push the 3ds format as the standard. Its time
that the industry addressed the concerns of increased user productivity instead
of just outdoing the other guys. Drag and drop editing in 3d programs would be
a god send.
