Yes, you can get to the witches castle without the swan… In fact, you have
to do so… (Use those totems!) As for the Sunstone, there's an unmarked keep
in the mountains south of Marheim… You have to get there…

Thanks for the info. I spent about three hours last night looking for those
items. I have realy enjoyed the game but I was not making any progress.
BTW — what was your characters bravery, luck and vitality when you finished ?

When I finished, I had a bravery of around 1000, a luck of about 25, and I
forget my vitality… I *had* a character with a bravery of about 1500 but my
save game got all mucked up and I lost him.
