applications can be developed using it?

Music-X will have an 'open environment'. Other applications will be able
to interact with it, transfer data to and from Music-X, and transmit and
receive midi events. I don't know much about Music-X (yet, my dept being
Video & Graphics), but I will post more information as it becomes available.
The development kit will be very low cost (simply to cover materials and
shipping), or may even be free (again, to registered developers only).
