Faery Tale Adventure Will someone please tell me the answer to the 3 questions???

Carolyn, The answer to the 3 questions is part of the game's copy protection scheme to prevent people from using illegal copies. The answers change each time you boot, and can be found on the map that is part of the game's documentation. Lee

But Henry, there are only about 6 possible ones, and they can be memorized rather easily. Beats the ^@##&^% out of a 'code wheel'

But memorizing the messages means that someone who didn't own the program could do that too!

Henry, That also means that a legitimate purchaser can use the program easily, and without having to keep the mnaual from being chomped by the dog or penut-buttered by the kids. Don't get me wrong. I rather like the code wheel in Interceptor, or would, if you didn't have to use it for EVERY mission, but think about it… how easy is it to photocopy the code wheel, or to make up a lookup table to obviate the need for the wheel? So far, there are no good forms of protection, and the people that decide to use protection of any type are doing nothing but fooling themselves, irritating those that bought it, and titillating those that stole it in spite of the protection. -larry

Having locks on windows is pretty foolish too, but it seems to be a common practice. There are lots of disillusioned homeowners and publishers out there. …cheath

It's something you'd know about if you had purchased the game.

Gee Steve, that's a bit heavy from the forum manager. Ted

I don't think so – it strongly seems as if the game wasn't purchased. That

Agreed Henry. The explanatory replies were valid. A cheap shot seems a bit out of place. Ted

It may be. However, the forum in no way encourages or promotes software thief. Anyone who has purchased Faery Tale Adventure would know what the keywords are.
