Well, there is a very simple patch to one sector of the program that
eliminates the need for the code wheel. The code wheel is about the only
bad thing I've experienced with the program. The second being that its
really not necessary to destroy the submersible carrier. So, I've
eliminated the code wheel and modified it to work on my hard disk .. so I
am happy. BTW, at $34, F-18 is the best fun I've had playing games on this
machine.
Um. Well, the code wheel doesn't bother me… only real cp bothers me. As
for modifications for the HD, yeah, I did that too – out of neccesity only,
tho. Too bad these people don't even think about the "heavy" systems when
they do these things. It's so _easy_ to do it right. <shaking head>
