If you have the 1080 or 2002 monitors (i don't know about the 1084) plug the
composite video into the monitor (RCA jack on the back) and flip the switch in
the controls section on the front to composite. If you get a good picture then
it is your VCR. If not, try a new RCA cable. If that doesn't work then it is
probably your composite card. -Greg
