Would you like me to upload some of your AmigaForum messages where you did make that statement (several times) ?

Nowhere within Amy Report was the statement made that the shadow sub was unsinkable – neither by me nor my reporters. Messages are a different story – they are a whole lot more quick and casual, and many people (myself included) believed the shadow sub to be unsinkable until very recently. Witness the extreme surprise by many in CO last night.

So, are you saying that a statement of fact made in a forum message has less validity than in Amy Report? It's ok to stretch the truth in one context but not the other? I don't think so.

No, but it was strongly implied by several people last night that Amy Report had a mistake in it about Interceptor. I checked it out, and it doesn't. The best I can do to rectify my error in the message base is to print some information on how to destroy the shadow sub. I will make mistakes here in there in the message base in the future, along with everyone else, and eventually a mistake is going to get into Amy Report (as in other magazines and newspapers.) At that time I will correct the mistake the best way possible. So far I think I've done a pretty admirable job in printing non-sensationalistic items with factual value, and I hope to continue what I perceive to be the current level of quality, if not improve.
