One thing that I found was that WHAP would not read Forums that did not have the TOP set to Forum! I had one set to Messages and it would NOT read the MBs until I reset it. Hope this info is of help. +BR+

Bill, I'm not too sure what you mean, but will look into it. Best, -jcs-

On individual Forums a user can through the OPTIONS Menu set where he/she will enter the Forum. On my home Forum FISHNET <I'm Staff there> I had this option set so that the first prompt I recieved was "Messages!". I believe that WHAP! needs to enter and "see" the "Forum!" prompt to be able to download the Message Section and Library names. When I originally trired to get these the program went to FISHNET but just kind of hung up at the "Messages!" prompt for a time then logged off. After I changed the entering prompt to be "Forum!", WHAP! did it's job just as advertised. Hope this makes a little more sense. I may be knowledgable about Tropical Fish <hence my Staff position> but when it comes to computers I'm still a Novice after several years. WHAP! is without a doubt one of the nicest programs that I have run across. I'm happy to be in on the start so I can monitor all the other "beginners" questions without having to ask all the silly questions myself. +BR+

Bill, Thanks for the info. Yes, it does make sense, but I would have thought that your global settings would be the determining factor. Looks like I've got to look at that one. In the meantime, if anyone has problems with Whap! "hanging" in a forum at the Messages! prompt when it should see the Forum ! prompt, you now know what to do! Manually make a change in that forum with the OP command. Best, -jcs-
