#View! Problems

My Problems with View! seem to be DMouse related… Could you check into
it for me?
(This is with dmouse 1.07 & 1.08)

Larry,
I'll look at DMouse, but, as I said before, anything that forces a window
refresh that the program doesn't know about is going to cause display problems.
That is the case with the "click to front" option of Mach II, and I suspect,
DMouse, also.

DMouse will definately mess up the display. Someone said that it wouldn't
but it does. The docs say it won't but it does. Oh well. 🙂
Henry, how does it mess-up the display. I haven't experianced any problems and
I've been using it for a few weeks now.

If you have DMOUSE's "click to front" feature activated, try clicking anywhere
on the screen except for the arrows on the scroll bar itself. You'll notice
things begin to disappear.
Henry, are you referring to a particular software product that Dmouse does ths
to? There was a warning in the Dmouse documentation that you shouldn't
click-to-front when your pointer is on top of an Intuition Icon becuase of a
bug in Intuition. It will suposedly Guru (I havne't tried this). That's the
only bug that I know of.

Ray,
Any graphics that are rendered into a window that the window does not know
about will be effected (not redrawn) when you use a click to front utility in
that window. Meaning anything that was put there by DrawImage() or RectFill().

DMouse will NOT mess up the display if you disable the POP TO FRONT or CLICK TO
FRONT feature! Jim has EXPLAINED that about 50 times!
I'm using DMouse with NO problems!

Art, someone awhile back claimed that DMouse's click to front feature did NOT
mess up view. It must not have been you, but it was someone. DMouse's click
to front feature DOES mess up -my- View!
It was me and I was wrong (oooops!…Sorry), I had just not been clicking fast
enough to activate window to front on DMouse.
