Mike, I am very interested in Dynamic-CAD, however no dealer in the greater Sacramento area has a demo available. I would like to see if this package is suitable for my needs without the 'buy and see' approach. Can you supply a demo version to this forum, or to any dealer in the greater Sacramento area? I just cringe to think of spending $400.00 + for a package that doesn't do what I need.

Bob, have you looked at X-CAD? It (from the brochures I've recieved) does almost everything my CADCAM at work does, and at the same speed! Actually, it's a little faster. Of course, if we implemented the DMA acess from our VAX to the terminals, it'd really smoke, but, the wisdom of management put the VAX two buildings away from where the users are located! But enought of my bitching. Besides, X-CAD should soon support those neat 3-D glass Haitex is selling.

Be sure and take a look at X-CAD. I have a friend (a draftsman) who has both and he is very disappointed in DynamicCad, but really likes X-CAD.
