Nautilus Wndhm hill prob
4 messages in this thread
I have demo disc from Nautilus, and I've got everything working except the
Windham Hill clips. When I try to open one of the audio clips I get a
message from Windows/nautilus saying "undetectable error in MCI driver". I
have a PAS-16 with the standard mvsound.sys in the config.sys. In Windows
my drivers list lists some MCI drivers, but I don't know where they came
from.
Any hints?

David:
Try this: With a CD-ROM in the drive, go into Control Panel
Drivers, choose MCI Audio and Setup. You should get a dialog saying one
CD-ROM detected.
Everything should work now.
BTW MVSOUND.SYS is not used by Windows. Do you have the latest 1.44
drivers?

Ed,
Thanks for the tip. I'll give this a try. I don't think I have the 1.44
drivers. Do I need them, how do I get them?

David:
They are in the Media Vision library of the MediaVendors Forum.
Filename WIN144.ZIP along with the latest version of mvproaud.drv (named
MVPROA.DRV because of the 6 digit limit)
