I understand there is a new version in the works but Soft-Logik won't even hint at a release date due to all the flames about previous promised and missed targets. Jim

Ahhhh. When I sent in my registration card with some bugs (a lot of bugs), they sent me a little thank-you letter saying that a new version was expected in about 2 months. I wouldn't bet on it! — Ethan

2 months huh?… Must be 2 computermonths (an exponential function of reality) Which version do you have now? It should be 1.61. The reason I'm asking is that most of the release packages from dealers were a *very* buggy 1.52. If that's what you have, then you are due a free upgrade to the *somewhat* (wide latitude given) buggy 1.61 . It's much better than the original but still has its problems. Jim

I have 1.6, not 1.61. What are the differences? I sent in the registration card saying 1.6 and haven't received the free upgrade they promise to all owners. Its not as if I can get through to them to ask for it! — Ethan P.S. I just erased it from my harddrive!

I don't know what if any differences there are. I just know that my free upgrade was from the first release 1.52 to this one and is says 1.61 on the title bar. I'm pretty sure they will honor your freebie when they have the next version out. I do like the program (keeping it on my harddisk) as I've gotten some pretty nice results. But it does have a lot of bugs left to be worked out. It is not up to the level one would expect from a "professional" program. In any event, I hope that Deron (the programmer) gets it right on the next update. A gut feeling tells me that in the long run, the product won't survive another buggy release. Jim
