Cheath, I just tried INFO DATES on my system (A2000, 5MB, with the latest versions of ARexx, WSHell, ARP, and POPCLI running in the background) and it hung forever before a Ctrl-C got me out. It broke out about 45 seconds AFTER I hit the Ctrl-C, too! So there is something similar in Jim Shaffer's setup and mine (that is different from Larry's) thats got a gotcha in it. Kevin

Are you using the 1.3 RAM-Handler? The 1.2 one had some problems with the date.

Martin, yes, right off the Workbench 1.3 Disk. Kev

If you've got an old RAM: handler, INFO DATES may do that; the volume datestamp on pre-V1.3 RAM: is not properly set. Copy over the file "l:Ram-Handler" from the V1.3 enhancer and you should be OK. …cheath

Charlie, a different date question (not ARP related, probably) – I seem to have a number of files that have 'future' dates – is there any INTELLIGENT way to clean up the mess? Or figure out how it happened? Thanks, Ron

Kevin: The only thing I had running at the time (aside from an AShell) was GOMF3.0. –Jim

That's right, I had GOMF 3.0 going too! Kev
