Help!! I've have a 2091 harddrive controller card and an Seagate st251. I'd like to set it up with two partitions. The only software I have for the card is Prep. It asks for the last cylinder for the first partition, but never and additional partitions. How do I go about paritioning this drive? Thanks. >>Steve.

You got Prep with your 2091? I don't think CBM has distributed that since the 2090 days. If you have a local dealer, you might ask him for a copy of the 2091 install disk. This has HDToolBox which is a much better (and easier) program for setting up your hard drive. // \X/ John – K7KB (Flying via AutoPilot)

Steve, PREP only sets up the first partition, you have to manually set up additional parititions via a mountlist. PREP is obsolete, and has long since been replaced by HDToolBox. Depending on which release of AmigaDOS you have, HDToolBox is either on your disk, or can be gotten from your dealer. Don

Thanks Don. I got this machine as payment for services rendered. The person who I got it from thought the card was a 2090 and was surprised when it autobooted. The problem was, he only had a disk for the 2090 card. So… I guess I'll stop in at the local dealer and see what they can do. Thanks again. >>Steve.
