Tom– First, I'd like to say how great it is to have you here. It makes a big difference in how we perceive Gold Disk, and in how well we are able to work with the products. It should help your sales too, I ordered a copy of PDraw 2.0 after seeing your message about its being compatible with PDraw. I sure hope your company allows you the time and resources to keep up the good work. And now for a question: a while back while talking to a GD phone support person, he said that a new PPage was due this summer. Is there anything you can add about when it might be available? And, after seeing that PDraw 2.0 is reputed to be many times faster, I have my hopes up that the new PPage will also share in some of that speed up technology. Do you know if it will be faster? Thanks, Tom

PPage 2.0 *IS* faster, although not dramatically, its really hard to say how much faster it is, but by the look of it, I'd have to say in the order of 20-30%. Official Dates haven't been announced, but for now, lets say Early September.

Tom I had the chance to try PPage on an A 3000 running DOS 2.0 it crashed and burned badly. I wasnt surprised though as everything crashes on it. Now before everyone jumps me with it's only a beta version of the new OS, which I know, the point I want to make is that I want to hope that any new version will be backward as well as upward compatable. I'm one of those poor amigans still running on an A 1000 and will be for quite some time unless I win the california lottery or I get a free 3k. Both have about the same amount of chance to happen (G).

Well, seeing as I have my own A3000 now, I'm sure I'll be finding many bugs. Tom Gandey Gold Disk, Inc. Technical Support

Speaking of PPage 2.0… Will the "Define Color" requester include CYMK percentages like in ProDraw, instead of the present CYM only?
