#Super Agnus

SYSOP I downloaded a program here called the Enhanced Chip Set Detector Program. When I run it, it understands the I have the Super Agnus chip installed, but I get a message that says "operating system is-unaware-of the presence of the Super Agnus chip." Now I don't have any problems, I'm getting my full megabyte of Chip ram(I have an A500), and the avail command indicates !Meg of chip, but I wonder what the message means and what if anything I should do about it. I think that it was explained earlier that unless you have the new WB2.0 the OS will not recognize a Super Agnus chip as a Super Agnus chip. You can still access the 1meg of chip memory, but the OS is ignorant to the fact that this 1 meg of chip memory is due to a Super Agnus installed. Something like that…
