This is a new subject so I hope it comes out that way(AAARG!) I have for about a year been taking DigiView snaps, been giving them Amiga project Icons and have been seeing them via DigiView 4.0 slideshow by just doubleclicking on the IFF icon. I would like an audio player that basically does the same thing for sound. It is great to put in a disk, see the Icons librarying (is that right) what is on the disk and by just a double click seeing the snap in up to full picture at 4096+ colours I would like to do the same with Audio, clicking on the Icons and listening. If there is a sound player out there please respond. TA!

Andrew, Try SOUND4.LZH in the Audio/MIDI Utilities library. I believe that it does what you ask. David

Andrew, look in Library 9 of AmigaArts. I use a player there that is simply called SOUND. I think the latest version is called Sound4, but I'm not sure of the exact title of the library file. You can locate it rather easily, though, if you go to the Lib 9! prompt and type BRO KEY:SOUND. Sound can work from an icon, and can play anything. In fact, it will even create a sound file from your text files, should you make an error! But it plays music and sound-effect files quite nicely. Should you have trouble finding SOUND, please ask again and I'll look up the exact title for you. ……Betty

There are some mouse driven pd players. I can't remember which one I have but I'll check. I just reassign the icon and then rename it for new ones. Tool types should be able to link them.
