I have heard that John was leaving SAS, but thanks for posting the official
announcement. John will be missed! However, Doug has been around for a
long time, too, and I'm looking forward to seeing his work.

Actually, Doug has been working on the C compiler at SAS ever since
parts of the compiler were developed there. So you have seen the product
of his work already! He just got promoted to the leadership role.
