Dennis, It was me. I want to revise my current AutoCAD curriculum to include samples of civil work. More than 50% of my class was placed in internships with civil engineering type firms. Terry Wohlers provided several references to Architectural texts. Thanks for your help, Bob

Dennis, No, when was it created? To whom was it sent? Bob.

Robert, I forget. I'm sure it was last week or weekend. In a nutshell; have your students create a generic fast food franchise. Select a site for it and let the Civils have at it in terms of site layout, utilities and drainage, etc. Take the Architecturally inclined students and have them do the building. The electrical aspects of the layout aren't something I'd want a student doing, but if there's interest, let somebody have at it. The artistically inclined can have at the signage and logo creation as well as helping rough out the building configuration. This project can be as involved as you want to make it. Get some local professionals involved as mentors to help with the rules, regs, and ordinances peculiar to your area. It can make for an interesting semester<g>. Dennis
