I think there are a whole bunch of folks that would like to see a
schematic to work off of. I've wanted to solder up something but haven't
quite found the right example to work from.
Would You happen to know what the very best cable is to use for the
jumpers with video signals? A Belden part number would be great!

Please see my last message to John Foust. As for the best cable to use
for video – I'm told that anything that works well for RF signals/coax
connections will work quite well with BNC connectors for composite. Radio
Shack, therefore, probably has just what you need. Their raw cable (if
your local Shack offers it) is very good quality, and priced right for
short lengths.

Radio Shack cable is hardly "very good guality," it is usually acceptable
quality. The type a cable that outfits such as Radio Shack used to sell as
RG-58, 59 and 8 is one of the major reasons that Belden went to a different
numbering system. They were ashamed that their cable could be compared to
the lossey and leaky stuff that the mass market outfits were selling.
