I just downloaded AmiUtil.lzh. It's a very nice directory utility. Does anyone have docs for it or a way to contact the author for shareware fees? Thanks… Regards, Allen – Cole Place Music Board (714) 827-3265

I second that motion!! 5 minutes with AmigaUtil II and I whiped every trace of Disk Master off my system! This is a shareware package I would have no problem paying for. Who left the shareware notice out of the archive, anyway!?! Should be shot!

It appears that AmigaUtil is a "prerelease" since the About requester says it's 2.0 yet the title bar says it's 1.84. It's fantastic as is and deserves to be paid for — if we only knew where to send the shareware payment!

What do you mean "change the .DEF file"? Are you trying to edit it with a word processor? You can reconfigure everything by holding down the CTRL key and clicking on a gadget, then use the "Save Configuration" menu command. It seems to work fine for me.

Steve, AmigUtil II v1.0 is the title that appears at the top of the AmigUtil.doc file of the ShareWare release prior to AmigUtil II v1.84 release. The v1.0 docs state that the shareware fee is $20.00 to: Amiga Team Canada BBS a/s Marc Lafontaine 452 des Pins La Plaine, Quebec Canada JON 1BO The BBS #'s are 514-729-4990 or 514-968-1474. The BBS operates 24 hours a day at 2400 Baud at F8N1. Leave your messages to Maurice or SysOp. After I called the BBS the I learned that v1.84 does NOT have its own docs but v1.0 docs will get one started. If you wish I will upload AmigUtil II v1.0 with the docs, let me know. I hope this helps. — Gary Lucas —

Gary, If you'd upload just the v1.0 docs I think that'll do. I'm sure people won't be interested in getting v1.0 of the program when they are already using 1.84.

Steve, After I posting my last msg. to you I checked to see if v1.0 was in the Libraries I did NOT find it, so I uploaded the COMPLETE package. I thought about uploading just the DOC file, BUT the docs have one of those "This program may be distributed provided that all files included in this archive remain intact, …" so I uploaded the whole thing.
