-I have some multisync monitors for sale. The models are as follows: (1) NEC Multisync Plus (1) NEC Multisync II (1) Zenith ZCM1490 -These would be great with a Flicker Fixer or a 3000. Offers? -Rocky

Rocky: Can you give me further details about the NEC monitors? Do you know if either of these monitors saves the positioning info relative to the scan rate? I know that some of the later NEC's will do this so that when using it in one resolution and switching to another will not require repositioning the screen if their positions had previously been set. (I currently have a Tatung, which won't do this, and when I had a bridgeboard in the machine I had to readjust the monitor when I switched to the VGA card, and then readjust it when I went back to the Flickerfixer – A real pain in the rear!) -Mike Schiller In sunny Fort Lauderdale

Mike, I really wish I could be of more help. These monitors have been running on PS/2's. I have tested them and they work very well. I know that the Zenith got very good reviews, and I believe that it will do 1024×768. The Multisync II has RGB bnc inputs as well as a DB 9. Sorry I can't be of more help. -Rocky

Rocky— Can you tell me more: Diagonal tube size. What kind of ports/connectors. Scan rates – will any do Amiga video, without a FlickerFixer?

Johnathon, I believe that they all have 14" tubes. All of the monitors have DB9 input connectors. And yes, they should scan down to 15khz. -Rocky

Rocky, I'm interested. I'd be interested in which ever one will sync down to 15.75 khz. How old are they?

Joe, I believe that all of them will scan down to 15.75khz. I believe that they range from 2-4 years old. -Rocky

Rocky, What is the age, dot pitch and size of the NEC multi-syncs? Will they sync to 15MHZ? How about the Zenith? Same question.

-I believe that the NEC's were manufactured in '87. The Zenith was manufactured in '89. I believe all three will scan down to 15 khz. -Rocky
