Hello, I just purchased version 3.3 of ProWrite. One small problem: the program disk has a read error (several actually) and it is sitting right smack in the middle of the ProWrite main program executable. Is this a problem that I should solve directly through you or should I go back and hound the store where I purchased it? I have not mailed the registration card yet (since I don't know if I need to return the entire package or not), but I can give you the registration number on the card via private EMail if you need it. Thanks in advance, Bill

My Extras disk has a read error on it too. Sounds like they may have had a few bad disks in their batch. I'm waiting for a reply to see if I have to send it back to them also.

I was able to use DiskSalv to get the program to install, but you never know if everything was correctly completely. I still think that they should send a replacement disk ASAP! BTW how long have you been waiting? Do you know of the user ID of anyone who actually works for New Horizons? If we could direct these requests to that person then we could at least be sure that they have gotten the message. Bill

I posted that my disk was bad about a week before you did. I directed my message to New Horizons. You might do the same. New Horizons CIS: Mark Thomas 76004,2021 J. Bayless 7530,1416

Bill, Send the original disk back to: New Horizons Software, Inc. Attn: Customer Support 206 Wild Basin Rd. Suite 109 Austin, TX 78746 We will replace the defective media cross our fingers and toes, Stamp DO NOT X-Ray on it twice as many times and hope for the best. Please direct questions about New Horizons products to: New Horizons, 7004,2021 and hopefully I will get it. You last messages when the software I was using set the message as having been read but did not keep a copy of it around for me to read. I'll be more carefull next time I experiment with new (unnamed) software not to try reading the forums I'm responsible for until I am sure I know how it behaves. What software are you using to access CIS? If it is not AutoPilot then you should take a look at it.

Donovan, Actually after recreating and finding the dates involved I have determined that the damage was done when I tried to use AutoPilot the first time. It is the old USER MISUNDERSTANDING problem and entirely my fault. I have my modem hooked up to an old Mac Plus using Navigator which is one of the things it does well any Amiga Stuff that I want to get down I move to my amiga using DoubleTalk. I will probobly try and take some time to learn AutoPilot this weekend and start using AP instead. Randy Brooks New Horizons Software, Inc.
