I have downloaded the Lemmings Demo TWICE in the last two days and neither
of these will decompress! This is a big file 461K and not cheap to
download. During the same sessions, I also downloaded other smaller files
which Decompressed without a hitch. One thing odd about the Lemmings demo
is the .ext which is LHW. Haven't seen this before and I am assuming that
it is a mistype of LZH, LHA.
Anyway, I am not so happy about the time and charges accummulated to do
this. I can only run a 2400 from my local Compuserve dialup. Does anyone
have suggestions on how to successfully decompress this file (I have been
using LhA132) or how to get credit for the time involved?

No, .LHW is not a mistype — no reason for you to assume it is. To
decompress the file, you'll need LHWARP from the Archivers/Crunchers
Library in AmigaUser Forum.
You must decompress that file with LHWARP. That's the problem. LHWARP
makes an exact copy of the disk from which it was compressed, not just a
copy of the data from the disk. You will find LHWARP in Library 16 of
AmigaUser forum.
Thanks for your reply Betty. This one's new for me. But I will go get the
LHWARP utility now and hopefully try Lemmings soon…
