Boing and Stuff

Well, I finally had a chance to go through your messages. And it does
work! Kind of a sneaky way to get around the boing effect. What eventually
happened though was that I just left out the boing effect. I changed the
balls to more of a metallic substance. Just wouldn't look right if they
boinged!
I do have another question for you though. How do you get a object to
start in the middle of a path?
Randy.
Randy,
How does one get an object to start in the middle of a path? One creates
TWO paths, one for each half of the movement. The one called down.path is a
vertical line stretching from 0,0,600 to 0,0,0. The one called up.path is
the opposite.
Blaq!
I guess that would work. I was hoping that there would be an easier way
to do it. I guess deep down I knew that it wouldn't be a piece of cake.
Actually the way I would have to do it would be to make three paths. Then
throw in acceleration and try to make it look good. Actually now that I
think about it it should be pretty east to do. Thanks….
Sorry about the 'roughness' of the letter.
Randy.
