And just wait for one of the frame buffer mfgr's to put a card on VL-bus …
maybe in coordination with a little JPEG compression. What we may have in
the next couple years would be realtime TGA's _without_ degradation. That
would allow us to stop "beating out VTR's to death" as well as all the other
benefits.

Would a double buffered NTSC card with a pair of 32-bit SCSI2 drives (one
per frame) connected direct to the card intrest you?
What price range would seem reasonable (without drives)?
