I am interest in trying my hand at IPAS programming…I am a fair C Programmer
but not super at it by any means. I'd like to get some idea how difficult it
might be before I invest in the SDK. Thanks.

The SDK is the cheap part, the 32 bit compilers and linkers are what's
expensive! Check into those too, make sure you have the proper versions ov
Watcom or Metaware before you get started!

Actually, IPAS programming, as long as you have the SDK, the HighC compiler,
and the Phar Lap linker, is extremely simple (depending, of course, on what
you're trying to do… particle systems are a LOT more difficult than image
processing routines, for example). You can take a look at some IPAS source
code here in the forum, in DL1, in IPAS21.ZIP.
