Hey, Paul! We have a new and improved ANiMal tool which you can download from our BBS (404-315-0211). This one fixes the overscan problem. We are still working on the fix for the Last Slide Show problem, though. I'll keep you posted on it. I hope this helps you out! Adam Nitti The Blue Ribbon SoundWorks

Since many of us log on to CIS as a matter of course, and the call to your BBS is *not* local, would you mind uploading the ANiMal Tool? While it's not a big issue for me, I too have noticed the problem with HAM images.

Hi Bob! Unfortunately, we will not be uploading any updates or revisions onto Compuserve. This is because we want to make sure that only registered users have access to this free service. Posting revisions on Compuserve (or any other BBS) would make our patches available to EVERYBODY, and we are really trying to combat the detrimental effects of piracy. (I realize there is no ideal solution…) Additionally, keeping these new update patches on our BBS insures that our users always have access to the latest and greatest versions. Maintenance would be much more difficult if we kept these updates across many sources. Our BBS number is 404-315-0211, and it is available 24 hours a day. There are a lot of users checking it out, and there are many files residing there which would probably be of interest to our users. I hope you check it out! Thanks for understanding. Adam Nitti

Adam, I just got Blue Ribbon a Vendor Slot in the MIDI C Vendor Forum (affiliated with the MIDI/Music Forum). It was my understanding from Melissa that ALL updates and revisions would be available there. Please confirm this with her. Dom Fontana –> Sent from NY via AP <–

Paul: I have gone ahead and made the file available to you on our BBS. Unfortunately, I can't upload the revisions to any other sources, because of the detrimental after-effects of piracy. We want to make sure that we are only supporting the registered users of our products. Posting them on Compuserve would allow B&P pirates to take advantage of our upgrades, as well. In addition, the maintenance of our upgrades on our BBS insures that the latest revisions are always available for our users. I hope you understand our concern. Our BBS number is 404-315-0211. It is available 24 hours a day, and is free support for registered users. In addition to the updated ANIMal tool, you will find many other goodies available for B&P as well as many of our other products. Thank you very much for your support! Adam Nitti

I called the number you posted and the phone never answers. Is it a 24 hour BBS most of the time? This was called from 2:50 AM till 3:25 AM PST. –Paul < Motorola Inside >

Hey, Paul! Sorry I have not been more available lately. I have been out of town for the last two weeks doing PC Expo and a little vacation. Have you tried dialing again since? We must have had a power outage or something. The same thing happened to me the other day. It should be working now, though. -Adam

Yep, I did get on but I found only the Toasty file. The board didn't recognize me as a registered user and there was no sign of a new ANIMal tool. There are only 11 files on the whole BBS? –Paul < Motorola Inside >

No, there are MANY more than that. There are 8 available file libraries, and each has several downloadable files categorized by type. I will find out why you weren't recognized as being registered and figure out what happened. (Registered users have access to much more on the BBS.) I will let you know what I find out and fix it. I am really sorry you have had these problems. Thanks for the info- Adam Nitti
