A friend of mine in Australia is working on an animation for a coronial inquiry involving a Boeing 707. The flight path of the aircraft is required to be animated and so he is looking for a 3D model for the Boeing 707 aircraft. It doesnt need to be anything sophisticated, in fact as long as it resembles a 707 no one would be any the wiser. Any ideas for sources? Any format would be acceptable. Regards, Harley

Harley. There was an airplane 3d mesh drawing included in the samples with AutoCAD R11. It resembles a small 707 but without engines or wheels and might take a little work to be acceptable, but it is pretty close. Maybe you can get a copy from someone with ACAD R11. If you are willing to pay, Accuris makes several nice planes; if someone here doesn't have their phone number handy, I'll post it Monday or Tuesday. John

the last word up here on airplanes was a rumour that Rudy Mantel, an aviation accident investigator and forensic 3DS animator has airplane meshes he may sell- he's at Graphic Descriptions in Ft Laud FLA: 305-792-5703. Also Viewpoint has alot of planes, the number says 707 and 747 but i'm not sure whta it means they cost from $150-500 depending on res: 1-800-dataset
