After reading the Personal Scribe documentation, I have a question. I am
planning on using recordable CDs for data archiving. I expect to make two or
more identical copies of every disk. Suppose after some time a disk is damaged
or lost. I will want to take the remaining disk and duplicate it. I suppose I
could read the good CD back onto a hard disk then make another CD from the
resored directory tree. As I understand it, there is a header on the CD that
contains information about its creation (date, creator, copyright notice…).
I think this information would not be preserved using the technique above. I
would like to make an identical copy of the original disk. Can I do this?
