#Aniconv crashes

I am using animator pro and am having trouble with the aniconv utility. I have
tried to use it to load tiff files made in a number of different programs
including aldus freehand and scan gallery. My system lock{ up every time I try
to load the tiff; I get the following message: Abnormal Program Termination:
Page fault cs:EIP:000ch:000024CAh. I am urgently in need of a solution, any
answers?
This error message, Abnormal Program Termination, can usually be traced to a
memory conflict. For troubleshooting, why not boot up with no config.sys or
autoexec.bat. Load your mouse, then try your aniconv operation. If things
work properly, then you should look in the config.sys and autoexec.bat for the
line that introduces the error.
Also, you should try CHKDSK /F on your aniconv drive. There are times when a
chkdsk Lost Allocation report will explain erratic behaviour. Cleaning up the
Lost Allocations may allow ANICONV to function properly.

Try creating an ani & aniconv.bat as follows
example:
cd\ani
ani -m 5333333
this will exclude enogh memory for it to run.
