Mark, I have an external 1700 but use the Hitachi proprietary card. Is that what you have? Ed

My card is made by Todd but it works with the Hitachi drive. I think maybe Hitachi OEM'ed the card from Todd. Are you interested in selling? BTW I am in Cambridge Mass. –Mark

Actually, Todd cloned the CDIFI8A card. The Hitachi CDIFI8S card is US made by a contract supplier, and uses surface mount components. (not from Todd!)
